BEDMAS

So this week my class's subject for math was algebra and we learned a new strategy on long addition/subtraction/multiplication/division.
The strategy we used was called BEDMAS. BEDMAS is a simple way on finding the answer to long equations such as  2 x 4+56 x 7-(45 x 2)3=?.

Te Wiki O te Reo Māori

Last week was te wiki o te reo māori and i can say now that i'm proud to call myself a young māori girl.

we had a assembly and I started it off by greeting the main speakers with my karanga ,  As the classes were getting ready for their performances I got some students to come up on stage and read out their pepeha's. 

Finally the classes were ready and a lot of good waiatas were sung and a lot of fun games were played.

Once all the performances were finished we moved on to the house haka's,  first was Sandringham,  next was Windsor, then it was Edinburgh and finally Marlborough took out the competition with a bang with the facials of a warrior.

Then our assembly had to come to a end,  but to finish māori language week off we did a school haka in which all students that were present on the day had to participate. Every one was loud and really finished māori language week off with a BANG.....

Geometry

For the past few weeks I have been learning how to estimate and measure how to find the degree angle of a triangle, quadrilateral, an equilateral and a scalene.

Learning this was a challenge at first but now it is very easy and to me is very basic now thanks to the help of my teacher Miss Peterson.
